recommends hand washing vintage items in cold water with a
gentle cleaner like Woolite and drip dry. Some items may be
taken to a good dry cleaner, but you may want to test the
cleaners ability with one of your least favorite items first!
In my experience, fine fabrics like wool and gaberdine are
best left to my dry cleaners, or done in the dryer with an
at home dry cleaning kit.
